According to the Public Relations Office of Qom Industrial University: Yesterday afternoon, Dr. Akhundi, the head of Qom Industrial University, met and discussed with Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Salehi Manesh, the esteemed governor of Qom.
In this meeting, Dr. Akhundi emphasized the necessity of developing Qom Industrial University. He also provided a report on the activities carried out over the past six months at the university. Dr. Akhundi stated: Given the university's budgetary challenges, we have achieved significant goals such as acquiring land for the university, doubling the university's current budget, striving to obtain construction funding to build a Technical and Engineering Faculty in 2015, developing an organizational chart and job descriptions for various university units for approval by the Board of Trustees, organizing the contractual status of faculty members, and implementing new regulations and policies to improve the university's processes and procedures.
The head of Qom Industrial University presented the university's 10-year strategic plan, which was prepared with the presence and input of the university's board, faculty members, and experts from Qom province, to Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Salehi Manesh.
The governor also expressed his satisfaction with this meeting and appreciated the actions taken by the university officials to foster the growth and prosperity of the only industrial university in the province, assuring his complete support, cooperation, and assistance for the advancement and development of this university.
