The president of Qom Industrial University added: it is also necessary for faculty members to be approved in terms of quality and quantity, and the systems and their quality and availability should be well verified.
He mentioned: at the end of 2018, during a visit from the Ministry of Science, some deficiencies related to the construction and university environment were pointed out, many of which we have addressed.
Rezai Noor noted: in 2019, during a subsequent visit, issues related to the sports facilities and the number of faculty members were raised, which we have improved, and we have attracted 17 new elite faculty members.
He emphasized: in 2020, we again requested a review, and with the necessary standards obtained, the permission for enrolling international students was granted.
The president of Qom Industrial University clarified: given the necessary approvals obtained last year, the enrollment of international students at Qom Industrial University will commence from October 2021.
He stated: we have begun advertising to attract international students, and considering the education of foreign students and seminarians in Qom and the city's international standing, there is significant potential for attracting international students.
Rezai Noor added: currently, the Qom Industrial University website is active in three languages: Persian, English, and Arabic, and promotional materials in the form of teasers and clips to introduce the university at the international level are being produced and uploaded.
He stated: considering the conditions of COVID-19 and the development of virtual infrastructure, the costs of services and educational offerings for attracting international students are also lower, which presents a good opportunity for studying in various fields internationally.
The president of Qom Industrial University stated: Qom Industrial University started its activities in 2008 with two fields: Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering, and currently more than two thousand students are studying in eight undergraduate and 16 master's programs, with 64 faculty members also active at the university.
He indicated: since 2018, the number of faculty members at Qom Industrial University has increased by 30 percent, and by September 2021, we will recruit another 10 faculty members.
