According to the Public Relations report of the university: Hojjatoleslam and Muslim Dr. Karami, the head of the representative office of the Supreme Leader in the universities of Qom province, met and discussed with Dr. Khushnivisan, the president, and managers of Qom Industrial University on Tuesday, 31/6/94.
In this meeting, Hojjatoleslam and Muslim Dr. Karami considered the interaction between the cultural unit and the office of the Supreme Leader to enhance the unity between the seminary and the university. He added: Given the spiritual atmosphere of Qom province, the universities in this province should excel, and they will be given special attention, carrying a heavier responsibility.
He referred to the remarks of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be blessed) and emphasized: Universities, with the support of the office of the Supreme Leader, should serve as a supportive umbrella for various segments of society, resulting in the elevation of political and religious awareness in the community.
Dr. Karami, considering the expansion of Qom Industrial University, the increase in the number of students at this university, and the necessity of the full-time presence of the representative of the office of the Supreme Leader, reported on his efforts to elevate the status of this esteemed office within the university.
