Once again, the International Quds Day, the day of unity for all Muslims and the freedom-seekers of the world, as commanded by Imam Khomeini (RA), approaches for the liberation of Al-Quds. Now, the Islamic people of Iran will once again raise their cry for justice in defense of the rights of the oppressed Palestinians and other oppressed peoples of the region. On the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan, Iranians will show the world through their massive participation in the Quds Day rally that they will fight against the occupiers, terrorists, and Zionists while upholding their religious and national values.
On Quds Day, the Islamic Iran will showcase its national unity and solidarity to the world, especially its perennial enemies. The noble nation of Iran, with chants of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel," demonstrates that Islam is a religion of brotherhood, and that the Islamic countries which adhere to the pure religion of Islam (not the Islamic facades like Saudi Arabia) will stand against the aggressors.
At this juncture in time, when enemies are attempting to disturb the security and tranquility of the Middle East, the magnificent Islamic Iran is more present than ever on the scene. A tangible example is the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' strike against ISIS with the launching of 6 missiles, which astonished everyone and sent the media into a frenzy. It is clear and evident that this strike initially hit the mouth of American and Saudi officials and then demolished ISIS's stronghold.
The Qom University of Technology, through the issuance of this statement and with hope for the freedom of beloved Quds, the establishment of justice in the world, and the collapse of ISIS, which is an offspring of tyrants and oppressors of the world, calls upon the noble and martyr-honoring nation of Iran, especially the university community, to participate passionately and heroically in the Quds Day rally, to reaffirm their commitment to the ideals of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the martyrs of the eight years of Sacred Defense, and in a further response to the Supreme Leader (may his shadow last), to declare their disavowal from the arrogant oppressors.
