According to the university's public relations: Qom University of Technology, as the secretary of the industry-university relations committee, held a meeting in Shakouhieh Township with the presence of Engineer Jamali, the political and security deputy of the governor, Dr. Khoshnavisan, the president of Qom University of Technology, Mr. Babaei, the director general of political affairs and elections of the governor's office, and a group of industrialists.
At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Khoshnavisan discussed the importance of industry-university relations. He considered the Industry Helper Program, which was implemented for the first time at Qom University of Technology, to be very beneficial and profitable.
He added: In this program, students from technical and engineering fields visit various factories in the province and, by becoming more familiar with the production process, identify the challenges and problems of factories and industrial owners, and work on resolving them by holding multiple meetings with faculty members and industry owners.
Then, Dr. Rasti, the industry's connection manager at Qom University of Technology, emphasized the importance of industry-university relations in resistance economy, stating that the tripartite connection between government, university, and industry is the lifeblood of economic development.
He continued by providing a report on the activities carried out in the secretariat of industry-university relations in Qom Province. Dr. Rasti mentioned that the establishment of the Innovation Center at Qom University of Technology, which has recently taken place, is currently performing very well by reviewing 14 proposals submitted by the faculty of this university, as most of these proposals align with the needs of the province's industry.
He added: A joint meeting between Farabi Campus University and Qom University of Technology regarding the enhancement of entrepreneurship in the province has been another activity of this secretariat, with its output being the formation of an entrepreneurship association. Additionally, the groundwork for establishing an industrial clinic in Shakouhieh Township, aimed at resolving the challenges of the province's industry, has been conducted by this secretariat.
The industry connection manager at Qom University of Technology identified the organization of a technology market exhibition and the creation of the industry café system as other achievements of this secretariat.
In conclusion, Engineer Jamali, while thanking the efficient performance of the secretariat and the comprehensive support of the province for it, called for the approval of the organizational chart and regulations for the secretariat of industry-university relations in the province.
