According to the public relations of the university: Engineer Zad Khour, the General Director of the Railways of the province, visited Qom Industrial University on Saturday, 11/8/92.
During this visit, a meeting was held to discuss collaborations regarding the support of the provincial railways for university projects related to railways, particularly in the fields of construction and mechanics.
Furthermore, Engineer Zad Khour pointed out the province's need for skilled and efficient professionals in the railway sector, stating: "Qom Industrial University, by establishing a Railway Faculty and accepting students in disciplines such as Railway Traffic Engineering, Railway Machine Engineering, Structural and Technical Line Engineering, Signaling, and Railway Safety Engineering, will make a significant contribution to the transportation industry of this province." Dr. Moshkooh Al-Sadat, the university president, expressed that, considering the existing facilities and the recruitment of related faculty, the necessary assistance will be provided to establish a program in Railway Safety Engineering.
It is noteworthy that, following the actions taken, a memorandum of understanding will soon be signed between the National Center for Railway Education and Studies and Qom Industrial University.
