The Minister of Science's Telephone Congratulations for the New Year to 4 Other Distinguished Professors from Universities Across the Country

 

Dr. Mansour Gholami, the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, continued a commendable tradition from previous years by visiting the homes of some prominent professors at the country’s universities to personally congratulate them on the New Year. However, this year, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and adherence to health protocols, he conducted separate phone calls with several well-known professors from universities across the nation, extending his New Year’s wishes and inquiring about their well-being.

According to the Public Relations Office of the university, as reported by the General Administration of Public Relations of the Ministry of Science, in recent days, Dr. Gholami had also reached out via phone calls to several distinguished professors across the country to congratulate them on the New Year and ask about their health.
Today, the Minister of Science also engaged in separate phone conversations with Dr. Jafar Ghayseri, a retired professor from Yazd University; Dr. Asadolahi Rezavi, a retired faculty member from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman; Dr. Mohammad Jafar Pakseresht, a retired professor from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz; and Dr. Hasan Ebrahimzadeh, a professor of biology at Tehran University.


Dr. Jafar Ghayseri is a retired professor from Yazd University and one of the founders of this university.
Dr. Asadolahi Rezavi is a retired faculty member from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman and a former president of this university.
Dr. Mohammad Jafar Pakseresht is a retired professor from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz.
Dr. Hasan Ebrahimzadeh is also a professor of biology at Tehran University, a nationally recognized figure, and a permanent member of the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It is noteworthy that in recent days, the Minister of Science had also conducted separate phone calls with several distinguished professors across the country.
In the past two years, since taking on the responsibilities of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, Dr. Gholami has made it a practice every April to visit the homes of several notable and distinguished professors, along with some of his deputies and university presidents, creating a completely friendly atmosphere to inquire about the professors' well-being during the New Year celebrations.
