Qom Industrial University issued a statement on the occasion of November 4th, the anniversary of the seizure of the U.S. Embassy, as follows:
November 4th is a reminder of the resounding cries for freedom and justice of the honorable nation of Iran against the tyrannies of the criminal United States, which, with the blood of the pure and sanctified students who were martyred by the military forces of the infamous Pahlavi regime in front of Tehran University, transformed into an eternal event in the glorious history of the Islamic Revolution.
The day of November 4th is a turning point in accelerating the formation, growth, and flourishing of the Islamic Revolution, and its most prominent feature is the continuous struggle of the Iranian people against global arrogance and the governments obedient to the criminal United States. Despite all the threats, sanctions, and intrigues of the U.S., the nation of Iran shines like a gem in the Middle East, powerfully inviting Islamic countries to unity and solidarity, and dismantling the plots and schemes of the United States with insight and awareness, as the Supreme Leader (may his shadow last) states: the invincibility of the United States is a false myth.
We, the academics of Qom Industrial University, while commemorating this day, drawing inspiration from the main message of Ashura, will stand firm against any form of threat and sanction, and by following the guidance of the wise leader, in line with preserving the ideals of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the values of the Islamic Revolution, will spare no effort to strengthen the scientific base of the country, foster self-reliance, and cut scientific dependence on foreigners, thus painting a bright future for our beloved homeland.
