Statement from Qom University of Technology on the occasion of June 5th

The fourteenth and fifteenth of Khordad in the history of the Iranian nation remind us of the name and memory of a great man who changed the destiny of our beloved homeland with his message and words. He can rightly be regarded as a great reformer and a catalyst for power and will among the oppressed and deprived.
This year, as we mourn the passing of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution in mid-Khordad, the ideals of that wise Imam are increasingly taking on a reality of their own, and the cry for justice is heard not only from the neighboring countries of Islamic Iran but also from the farthest lands; in Europe, Africa, and America, as if the wave of Islamic awakening has enveloped the entire globe. A notable example is the child-murdering regime of Al Saud, which, with the support of the United States and other evil powers, has launched a comprehensive attack on the Muslim nation of Yemen, leaving no stone unturned in the massacre of women, children, and the elderly. To such an extent that it prevents humanitarian aid from reaching those innocent and oppressed people. Despite all these threats, sanctions, and tortures, Muslims hold onto the call of "Allahu Akbar" with hope for the emergence of the savior of humanity, so that we may witness a world filled with justice and fairness.
We, the academic community of Qom University of Technology, by commemorating the passing of Imam Khomeini (RA) and keeping the memory and legacy of the martyrs of the June 15 uprising alive, once again reaffirm our commitment to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and, following the directives of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow last), we will be defenders of Islam and the Quran.
