The "yes" vote of the Iranian people for the Islamic Republic reflects the failure of imperialism and the love and loyalty of the noble and martyr-producing people of Iran to the sacred system of the Islamic Republic.
On this great day, the people, by participating at the ballot boxes, made a wise decision about their fate and that of their country; rightfully so, this unparalleled action of the honorable Iranian nation became one of the finest examples of democracy throughout history.
On the twelfth of Farvardin in the year 1979, the women and men of our dear Iran, by casting their votes at the ballot boxes and choosing the Islamic Republic, fulfilled their duty to Imam Khomeini (ra) and the martyrs. Today, we, relying on the Almighty God and following the teachings of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be immortal), in a year named (Resistance Economy, Action and Work) as stated by the Supreme Leader of Muslims, hand in hand, with unity and solidarity will strive to create the best for the glory of our country. Under any circumstances, we will be the guardians of the ideals of the sacred Islamic Republic of Iran, the late Imam, and the martyrs with crimson shrouds.
