According to the public relations of the university: On the occasion of the fourteenth of Khordad, the anniversary of the painful passing of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, and on the threshold of the anniversary of the uprising of the fifteenth of Khordad, Qom Industrial University issued a statement emphasizing the importance of keeping alive the memory of the late architect of the Islamic Revolution and renewing the covenant with the ideals of that great Imam. The full text of this statement is as follows:
Coinciding with the arrival of fourteen Khordad, the anniversary of the sorrowful demise of Imam Khomeini (RA), the hearts of the believers and the free people of the world are filled with the memory of that beloved departed one, for Imam Khomeini (RA) is recognized as the most beloved leader in the contemporary world. Imam Khomeini (RA) does not solely belong to the noble and martyr-nurturing nation of Iran, but today all the free people of the world, regardless of language and culture, learn the lessons of freedom from the great Khomeini.
For us Iranians, fourteen Khordad is a day that repeats love, solidarity, and unity. Fourteen Khordad reminds us of hard yet sweet and memorable days that, under the leadership of our esteemed Imam, shaped the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran with independence, freedom, and unity of word, and thanks to God and the wise and intelligent leadership of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be exalted), the unparalleled fruits of this glorious revolution are flourishing in the Islamic world.
At the end of this statement, it is emphasized: The academic community of Qom Industrial University, while expressing condolences on the passing of Imam Khomeini (RA) to the presence of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his appearance), the wise leader of the revolution, and all the nation, and honoring the memory of the great leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), as well as the fallen martyrs of the revolution and the Sacred Defense, and paying respect to all the veterans and the respected families of martyrs, once again renews its allegiance with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and invites all noble people of Iran, especially the academic community, to participate as extensively as possible in the memorial ceremony for that beloved departed one, to renew their commitment to the genuine ideals of Islam and the revolution.
