According to the Public Relations of the University: The statement of the academic community of Qom University of Technology is as follows:
Despite all the intrigues of our enemies since the victory of the Islamic Revolution until now, the unity and insight of the great and noble Iranian nation, under the guidance of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be exalted), has brought coherence and strength to Islamic Iran.
The solidarity of the Iranian people on the 9th of Dey in the year 2008 is a tangible example of this claim. A day when the calendar of the Islamic Republic of Iran illustrated piety, love for the motherland, unity, and devotion to the leadership. The artists of this memorable scene were elders, youth, women, and men from all walks of life who demonstrated their love and loyalty to their leader.
In fact, this day reminds our enemies of the despair and defeat of imperialism and the vigilance and insight of the heroic Iranian nation. We, the academic community of Qom University of Technology, hereby announce to the leaders and supporters of sedition that despite the betrayals, sanctions, and intrigues of our enemies, we will not allow any harm to come to the soil of our homeland, and by following the guidance of our great leader, we will always support Islam, the Quran, and the velayat-e faqih.
