According to the Public Relations of the University; an educational workshop on modern communication security, organized by Qom University of Technology and the ISSL Laboratory of Sharif University of Technology, will be held virtually on Tuesday, September 23, from 8 AM to 5 PM, featuring Dr. Mohammad Reza Aref, a professor at Sharif University of Technology, Dr. Ali Kouhestani, an assistant professor at Qom University of Technology, Engineer Amir Hossein Khalili Tiranaz, a PhD student at Iran University of Science and Technology, Engineer Mohammad Reza Yari, a PhD student at Tarbiat Modares University, and Engineer Narges Kazempour, a PhD student at Sharif University of Technology.
In this workshop, topics will cover; principles and foundations of security, encryption techniques, WiFi security, 4G and 5G security, physical layer security (PLS) including principles and concepts, techniques for secure transmission and secret key generation, applications and practical examples of PLS worldwide, presented virtually.
