Diverse Programs of Qom University of Technology During the Blessed Fajr Decade

The anniversary of the Fajr decade in the year 1399, despite the absence of students due to the COVID-19 conditions, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Qom University of Technology. Various scientific, cultural, and sports programs were held during this period.
According to the university's public relations, some of these programs are detailed below:
1- Renewing the commitment of Qom University of Technology staff to the ideals of the founder of the Islamic Revolution during the Fajr decade
A group of university staff renewed their commitment to the ideals of Imam Khomeini, the leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, during the Fajr decade and on the eve of the 42nd anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution by visiting his home.

2- Visit with the families of martyrs:
In this visit, a group of officials and staff from Qom University of Technology commemorated the memory of the late martyr, Hojjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Mohammad Tavakoli, the last cleric martyr of the eight-year Sacred Defense War, by attending his home.
Martyr Tavakoli attained the high rank of martyrdom while defending the system, the revolution, and the country's security during the Morasad operation at the fronts of Truth against Falsehood, where he was martyred by the evil hypocrites.

3- Blood donation:
In a humanitarian act, a group of employees from Qom University of Technology donated their blood at the blood transfusion organization to help complete the blood bank and meet the needs of patients in need.

4- Book reading contest:
During the celebrations of the Islamic Revolution, with the efforts of the office of the Leadership Representation in the university, a book reading contest was held to renew commitment to the martyrs of the revolution, the martyrs of the eight years of Sacred Defense, and the martyrs defending the shrine. The contest was based on the will of the heart commander (Sardar Shahid Qassem Soleimani), and prizes were awarded to seven selected winners of this contest.
5- Sports competitions:
To create excitement and camaraderie, sports competitions were held in four sports disciplines: table tennis, foosball, shooting, and darts for both men and women, organized by the university's physical education department.

It is worth mentioning that these competitions were also preliminary rounds, allowing the top participants to qualify for the fourth sports olympiad for employees and faculty members of universities, seminaries, and higher education institutions in Qom, which will be held in Esfand.
6- Holding the revolution celebration:
This ceremony, which was conducted with adherence to health protocols in the Martyr Akhundi conference hall of the university and attended by faculty and staff of the university, began with Hojjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Dr. Ghorbani, the head of the Leadership Representation Office at the university, discussing the achievements of the Islamic Revolution. Following that, Dr. Rezai Noori, the university president, answered the presenter’s questions regarding the demands of university members while in the hot seat.
