The 18th Technology Market Exhibition was inaugurated at Qom University of Technology in the presence of the Governor.

 According to the Public Relations Department of the university: The eighteenth innovation exhibition was held with the presence of the governor and executive officials of the province in the Shahid Akhundi Conference Hall of Qom University of Technology.


The governor of Qom stated that research is a factor for a country's superiority and growth and said: Research becomes applicable when it is designed based on the needs of the province.
He pointed out that nothing good comes easily and stated: In every research and inquiry conducted, attention should be paid to how it operates and how it is executed.
Sadeghi emphasized that becoming elite is the result of continuous effort and action, adding: Research must be designed and executed based on the shortcomings and basic needs of the province.
The governor of Qom noted that research leads to fewer errors and greater benefits for projects and programs, stating: The connection between universities and industry must be stronger and more purposeful than before.
He remarked that universities must assist the industries of the province and stated: Research is fruitful only when it has an external and practical representation.
The governor of Qom acknowledged the lack of research funding in the province, saying: A focus on the province's research programs can somewhat alleviate its problems.
Engineer Sadeghi suggested that the research and technology exhibition may be held annually at the University of Technology and noted that this university has a good foundation for the connection between academia and industry in the province.
In another part of this ceremony, the president of Qom University of Technology pointed out that this university covers 28 fields of study and mentioned that over 40 percent of the students are studying in 14 different master's programs.
Dr. Bahram Khushneviss stated that the secretariat of the Industry Connection Committee is located at Qom University of Technology, adding that this university holds the 5th rank in the country in the field of nanotechnology.
He announced the readiness to hold the technology exhibition annually, stating: It is essential that the exhibition programs are monitored year by year and that companies participating in the exhibition should be based on research and technology.
It is worth mentioning that the eighteenth exhibition of research and technology achievements (Innovation Exhibition) in Qom province is being held from December 2 to 4 of the current year at Qom University of Technology, on the occasion of Research and Technology Week, with 21 booths, including 12 from educational, research, and technology centers, 7 industrial units, and 2 executive agencies.
