During this meeting, Engineer Yazdan Mehr expressed his pleasure at being at Qom Industrial University. In a meeting attended by the university president and some officials, he discussed the problems and needs of students in the area of welfare.
Dr. Khoshnavisan, the president of Qom Industrial University, referred to the formation process of this university and shared insights about the current conditions of the university.
He addressed the state and needs of dormitories, kitchen equipment, improvement of food preparation and distribution quality, nutrition subsidies, insurance, student loans, tuition and housing deposit, and other related issues in the student welfare sector.
The head of the Welfare Fund for Students at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, while promising support for allocating sufficient budget for equipping the dining hall and updating kitchen equipment, added that the Welfare Fund for Students will allocate a budget for purchasing student dormitories for Qom Industrial University.
Dr. Pourkiani, the director general of physical education at the Student Affairs Organization of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, stated that given the importance of sports at universities, if a sports hall is built, the physical education unit of the Ministry will allocate a budget to equip the hall for the university.
At the end, Engineer Yazdan Mehr and his delegation toured the university.
