The first day of registration for new students at Qom Industrial University
The excitement and enthusiasm of students who have come to university for the first time, and the families who are proud of the future engineers and curious minds.
The Polymer, Astronomy, and other associations warmly welcome the students. The department heads, professors, and staff each try their utmost to create a memorable day for each individual student.
The first day of Dr. Moshtaq Al-Sadat's attendance as a new student at the undergraduate level at the university: it was the year 56, before the revolution. During registration, the first semester courses were determined, and each student was given a package containing educational regulations, the names of professors, and their specialties. Then a speech by the university president was held, and there was no orientation or student camp.
The first day of Dr. Ghanbari's presence as the Student Affairs Deputy at the University of Science and Technology:
Registration took place in the university courtyard and took about two hours for various stages. Just hearing the university staff call us "students" brought us joy, and since I had achieved a very good ranking and was accepted into the Mechanical Engineering program, I was very happy.
The first day of Hojjat Al-Islam Tabatabai's presence as the Cultural Director and representative of the Supreme Leader's Office in Qom's seminary:
We were passed under the Quran. Senior students welcomed their families in their rooms. Those moments are among the best of my life, as I felt honored to serve Imam Al-Mahdi (May God hasten his reappearance).
The first day of Dr. Karimi's presence as the Educational and Research Deputy at the university:
I was a soldier at the time of registration and had to take a full day of leave. Our registration was done manually, and since we were benefiting from free education, we had to register our commitments in a notary office, and then we would refer to department heads for course selection. If we had the internet back then, we wouldn't have to go through all the manual registration steps, which were quite difficult.
The first day of Ms. Dr. Taheri's presence as the head of the Polymer program at the Polytechnic University:
It was the fall of 1999. Older polymer students had formed a welcome committee for us newcomers. From that day, I felt that the polymer students were more active and energetic than others. When I saw my professors, who were mostly young and in their early years, my excitement doubled. I will never forget my registration day.
The first day of Dr. Marjani's presence as the head of the Engineering and Technical Faculty and head of the Industrial Engineering program at Amir Kabir University:
Early in the morning, I went to the university with the whole family, and after a long registration process, they gave us our first meal voucher, and I had my first student meal with my family on registration day.
The first day of a new polymer student in the 2012-2013 academic year
I am very happy to be in the holy city of Qom. From what I heard about this university, it is a new institution with young professors, which I believe is a great place for growth and gaining experience.
Today I am extremely happy, especially since the Polymer group warmly welcomed us. I have already decided that next year I will also be part of the team welcoming new polymer students.
Feedback from one of the parents of new students from Shiraz:
Qom Industrial University is a small and well-organized university. The registration process is very well-planned. All officials, from the security to the final registration desk, had very good manners.
When I found out my son had been accepted to a university in the city of Qom, I was quite worried about the distance. However, after seeing the holy city of Qom, the university, and the officials up close, I thanked God. Moreover, I consider the coincidence of the registration in the holy city of Qom with the anniversary of the birth of Khomeini, the esteemed leader of the household, to be a good omen.
