According to the Public Relations Department of the university: Given the mission of Qom University of Technology to enhance the industry of the province, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the university and the Industrial Parks Company of the province has been signed during numerous meetings between university officials and the company.
Under this memorandum, Qom University of Technology and the Industrial Parks Company of the province will engage in joint activities in the fields of education and research. Among the collaborative efforts in research activities are the implementation of research projects in new technologies, conducting joint scientific and research conferences, providing consultancy and oversight on ongoing company projects, creating joint research projects to identify industry problems with a forward-looking approach and environmental considerations, and utilizing reciprocal (laboratory and workshop) facilities based on relevant rules and regulations.
Additionally, the educational collaborations of Qom University of Technology with the Industrial Parks Company of the province, based on this memorandum, include aspects such as conducting joint training courses upon the company's request, organizing workshops and educational conferences, and facilitating internships for students in the industrial units of the industrial parks, among others.
Part of this memorandum states: By signing this memorandum, both parties will exert their utmost efforts to expand national capabilities in addressing the scientific-research and industrial problems subject to this memorandum and achieve national self-sufficiency, and they will spare no effort in this regard.
It is noteworthy that this memorandum was signed by Dr. Khoshnavisan, President of Qom University of Technology, and Engineer Amir Hushang Tayb Nizad, President of the Industrial Parks Company of the province, at the university.
