According to the public relations office of the university: To commemorate the arrival of the days of Allah during the decade of Fajr and the forty-first anniversary of the glorious Islamic Revolution, as well as the fortieth day of the passing of Martyr General Qassem Soleimani, a ceremony was held with the presence of a number of staff and professors of Qom University of Technology, organized by the office of the Representative of the Supreme Leader at the university, cultural management, and staff mobilization in the Shahid Akhundi conference hall of this university.
At the beginning of this ceremony, Dr. Rezai Noor, while referring to the role of unity and trust among the people in the formation of the glorious Islamic system, said: "All great revolutions around the world have always been created through the unity and solidarity of the people, and our country was also blessed with this gift, managing to root out hypocrisy from the country forever with unity and trust in 1979 and establish a great revolution and a government adhering to the principle of justice."
He added: "Above any developmental action at the university, unity and solidarity among the members of the institution is considered the most important asset in advancing goals, which can be referred to as social capital."
The president of Qom University of Technology emphasized: "According to the planned efforts and with the collaboration and endeavor of the university staff, it is hoped that by the year 2025, Qom University of Technology will rank among the top 10 industrial universities in the country and also be counted among the top 20 universities in the national university ranking."
Dr. Rezai Noor, emphasizing the statements of the Supreme Leader in the Second Step of the Revolution Declaration and highlighting the role and importance of universities in influencing society, stated: "Given the Second Step Declaration, our role in the area of development will not be limited to the university environment but influencing society is one of the roles and missions defined for us."
He continued: "We are striving to establish ourselves as a model Islamic university at the national level and also as a civilization-building university based on the points mentioned in the Second Step Declaration of the Revolution."
During this ceremony, Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the representative of the Supreme Leader at the university, congratulated the attendees on the arrival of the days of Allah during the decade of Fajr and also extended his condolences on the fortieth day of the passing of Martyr General Qassem Soleimani, emphasizing the role of the people in the formation of the Revolution, stating: "This Revolution and system belong to the people because it was the massive movement of the revolutionary people that was able to transform the foundation of the state from a dictatorial regime and the centrality of oppression to the centrality of the people and guardianship."
He added: "Guardianship is considered an Islamic model for governance, which is fundamentally derived from the people so that it continues its path close to the people."
The representative of the Supreme Leader at the university remarked: "Although issues have arisen in the formation of this glorious Islamic system due to the negligence of certain officials, the noteworthy point in establishing this system is that the foundation of this Islamic governance has been formed based on divine guardianship."
Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, at the end of his remarks, referred to the impact of the martyrdom of General Qassem Soleimani, adding: "The martyrdom of this brave commander of the Resistance front has infused new blood into the veins of the glorious Islamic Revolution and increased the love of the people for the guardianship and the system twofold."
The speech of Colonel Kazemi, one of the comrades of Martyr General Qassem Soleimani during the 8 years of the Sacred Defense War, as well as a eulogy, were among the other programs of this ceremony.
At the end of the ceremony, a number of staff appreciated the efforts of Dr. Jalal Rezai Noor for his presidency at Qom University of Technology.
