Newly admitted students and professors of the Faculty of Basic Sciences have become more acquainted with each other.

The introductory ceremony for the new students of the Faculty of Basic Sciences was held on Tuesday, 7/7/93, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the amphitheater, attended by Dr. Khoshnavisan, the Vice President for Education and Research, Dr. Malataki, the acting head of the faculty, and relevant faculty members.
Initially, Dr. Malataki welcomed the new students and provided them with deeper insights into the disciplines of this faculty (specializations in Mathematics, Chemistry, Engineering Physics, Energy Engineering, and general fields such as English Language and Physical Education), explaining the educational, scientific, research contexts, and job market for each of these fields.
Dr. Khoshnavisan emphasized that the most important duty of any student is scientific study and added: a successful student is not one-dimensional. The primary priority is educational and research issues, while cultural and political matters follow. This is because the authorities have also emphasized the importance of holding free-thinking sessions and cultural and political programs. Moreover, the relevant faculty members introduced themselves and discussed issues regarding the teaching methods and approaches for each subject.
Subsequently, Mehdi Khadem, Alireza Hasani, and Atiyeh Alivandi were recognized as the top students of the Faculty of Basic Sciences in both bachelor's and master's programs, receiving awards as a token of appreciation.
In conclusion, Ali Ahmadi, recognized as the outstanding student in the field of Engineering Physics, highlighted key points about effective study and learning methods.
