Research follow-up at Qom Industrial University will be a top priority for the faculty's agenda.
Along with holding a meeting with Dr. Akhondi, the university's head, Hojjatoleslam val-Muslimeen Akhondzadeh, the representative of the Supreme Leader at the university, and a number of faculty members, Dr. Jafar Ghanbari was appointed as the head of the Faculty of Engineering by decree.
In this meeting, Dr. Akhondi regarded the follow-up of research activities as one of the most important responsibilities of faculty members. He added that in order to enhance the university, faculty members should engage more in research and the presentation of articles. Additionally, attracting funding and concluding research contracts requires the cooperation and collaboration of each faculty member.
During this gathering, Dr. Akhondi announced the plans for the independence of faculties and the transfer of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science outside the university.
It is worth mentioning that the efforts of Dr. Kalayi, the former head of the Faculty of Engineering, were also recognized and appreciated.
