According to the public relations office of the university: As part of the planning carried out regarding the diagnosis of existing problems and the improvement of processes and regulations at the university, as well as diligent and direct follow-up to resolve student issues, Dr. Rezaei Nour, President of Qom University of Technology, visited the Aazadegan Women's Dormitory on Friday without prior coordination.
During this visit, Dr. Rezaei Nour directly learned about the problems, suggestions, and criticisms of the students.
The students expressed their concerns regarding various issues including welfare, facilities, and education. Among the problems raised were the shortage of transportation means during the conclusion of classes from 5 PM to 7 PM, the lack of a sports hall in the dormitory, the entry and exit times for students in the dorms, ventilation in classrooms, issues with the educational portal for course selection, add and drop, etc.
At the end of the visit, the President of Qom University of Technology pledged to address the existing problems and deficiencies, stating: "The officials of Qom University of Technology will exert maximum efforts to resolve the existing issues as quickly as possible." He also viewed the empathy, cooperation, and coordination of students with the officials as key to expediting the resolution of current problems, adding: "God willing, with the help of all of you, we will witness the resolution of existing problems and deficiencies, and I will follow up on these matters with the relevant authorities."
It is worth noting that to ensure immediate communication with university authorities regarding students' problems and concerns, Dr. Rezaei Nour announced the necessity of increased presence of officials in student dormitories.
