According to the Public Relations Office of the University: As part of the planning efforts aimed at establishing direct communication between the officials of Qom Industrial University and students, and to expedite the resolution of their issues, Dr. Rezayi Nour, the President of Qom Industrial University, and his accompanying delegation visited the Shahid Hajji male student dormitory without prior arrangements.
During this visit, Dr. Rezayi Nour, while inspecting the dormitory, held a meeting to closely understand the problems, suggestions, criticisms, and viewpoints of the students.
Additionally, the students expressed their gratitude to Dr. Rezayi Nour for the changes made at the university, including the construction of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the establishment of the Shahid Shahriyari sports hall, and requested the separation of the dormitory prayer room from the study hall.
Issues raised by students included reduced water pressure on lower floors, internet disruptions, lack of sports facilities, and overcrowding of rooms due to a large number of students residing in a single room.
Furthermore, students presented their viewpoints regarding welfare and socio-economic issues at the university, including heavy traffic of students in the main hallway, shortage and overcrowding of morning transportation services, crowding in the study halls for male and female students, shortage of faculty members in Energy Engineering, delays by education experts in responding to students, absence of an overhead bridge at the university entrance, lack of sports facilities on campus, and nutrition department issues, all of which were discussed during Dr. Rezayi Nour's visit to the Shahid Hajji male student dormitory.
Dr. Rezayi Nour thanked the students for their sincere cooperation and informed them about the comprehensive efforts of the authorities to address the mentioned deficiencies and problems.
It is worth mentioning that this visit concluded with a congregational prayer.
