According to the public relations department of the university: The dormitories of Shahid Hajji, Azadgan, and Farhang are ready to welcome students of Qom University of Technology in the new academic year.
As part of the planning efforts, all dormitories have been equipped and renovated during the summer holidays. Activities include repainting walls, replacing carpets, separating the study hall from the television room, establishing a gym, a counseling and health room, developing a wireless network along with the installation of advanced antennas, and increasing the internet bandwidth to enhance the comfort of students at the beginning of the new academic year.
Additionally, to increase the capacity of student dormitories, the Azadgan dormitory located in Azadgan Square has been added to the dormitory complexes of Qom University of Technology. This dormitory, with five floors and 121 rooms, is ready to accommodate 150 female students of Qom University of Technology.
It is noteworthy that currently, the capacity of the student dormitories for female and male students at Qom University of Technology is 250 and 376, respectively. With the addition of the Azadgan dormitory, the overall dormitory capacity of this university has increased by 30% compared to last year.
