According to the public relations office of the Student Welfare Fund, the head of the Student Welfare Fund announced: This fund, on the eve of Arbaeen, aims to support students as well as this spiritual and cultural initiative, will provide eligible students with a special loan of 7 million rials for the pilgrimage to the holy sites as quickly as possible.
Zolfaqar Yazdanmehr, head of the Student Welfare Fund of the Ministry of Science, referring to the millions of people participating in the Arbaeen ceremony, stated: Our people always consider visiting Imam Hussein (PBUH) as a duty, and in previous years, we have witnessed the magnificent presence of millions of people in the Arbaeen ceremonies. Among them, the presence of students from universities across the country has been very enthusiastic, and our students have organized various programs during this event.
The head of the Student Welfare Fund of the Ministry of Science continued: This fund, on the eve of Arbaeen, aims to support this spiritual and cultural initiative, as well as support those students who intend to travel to the holy sites, has decided to provide eligible students with loans for the pilgrimage to the holy sites, up to the allocated budget, as quickly as possible.
He added: The loan limit for each student is 7 million rials, and importantly, this loan carries no fees, and repayment of these facilities is like other loans, after graduation.
The head of the Student Welfare Fund stated: Applicants for these facilities must refer to the student welfare offices at their universities to complete the loan application form and submit a copy of the visa and insurance payment receipt.
Yazdanmehr emphasized: Universities can announce the list of approved students through the Student Welfare Fund system starting today, so that necessary arrangements can be made for loan disbursement.
He concluded by saying: Registration for this loan begins today (Saturday, November 5) and applicants will have until Wednesday, November 16, to apply for receiving these facilities.
