The commemoration of the dormitory week was held by the Student Affairs Office at Qom University of Technology.
According to the university's public relations report: In celebration of Dormitory Week, the Student Affairs Office at Qom University of Technology formed a special working group and organized various programs such as mountain climbing trips for both female and male students to Mount Khizr (AS), selecting exemplary dormitory rooms, and holding sports competitions including futsal, chess, table tennis, darts, rope skipping, tug of war, ring toss, foosball, and bodybuilding, along with awarding prizes and championship certificates to top participants. Cultural and artistic competitions were also organized, featuring poetry, caricature, literary pieces, and mobile photography centered on dormitory themes, as well as compiling, reproducing, and publishing a newsletter for Dormitory Week. Additionally, appreciation was shown to activists in this field with the distribution of certificates and cash prizes, and multiple Q&A sessions were conducted with the esteemed university president, officials from the Student Affairs Office, and Student Affairs officers in the Motefid and Shahid dormitories. Survey forms were developed, reproduced, and distributed to gather feedback and suggestions from the students in Motefid and Shahid dormitories, while honoring the officials and supervisors of the dormitories, hosting two first aid workshops in Motefid and Shahid dormitories, and equipping the dormitories with new first aid kits - are part of the Dormitory Week programs.
Additionally, the celebration for Dormitory Week was held in the Shahid Akhundi auditorium with the presence of Dr. Akhoundi, the esteemed university president, Dr. Mohammad Karimi, the Student Affairs Vice President, Dr. Malekatqi, the Director of Student Affairs, deans of faculties, and a number of officials and students.
This celebration included a variety of programs such as a live performance by the talented host Mr. Pour Sabagh, sports demonstrations, honoring exemplary dormitory students in cultural, professional, and sports fields, and organizing a charity festival and exhibition, among other activities.
