According to the announcement from the Organization of Student Affairs, the 2015 Exemplary Student Festival, in collaboration with the ministries of Science, Research and Technology and Health, Treatment and Medical Education, will be held to introduce students from the country's higher education institutions who have achieved top ranks or accomplished outstanding activities.
According to this report, students at the bachelor's, master's, continuous master's, professional doctorate, and clinical specialty doctorate levels can participate in this festival. Students who can obtain the necessary score and are selected and introduced as exemplary students at their university will be nominated as exemplary students to the central secretariat of the national exemplary student festival.
Students can register for this call if they have obtained a minimum overall GPA of 16 at the bachelor's level, a minimum overall GPA of 17 at the master's level, a minimum overall GPA of 16 at the professional doctorate level, a minimum overall GPA of 17 at the specialty doctorate level, and a minimum overall GPA of 15 at the clinical specialty doctorate level, along with achieving at least 60 points out of a total of 100 points on the submitted forms.
According to the regulations of this festival, each student can only be selected and introduced as an exemplary student in their respective level once, and the age limit for participation in this festival is a maximum of 40 years.
It is worth mentioning that this festival has a supreme council and a policy-making council, which is formed with the attendance of the ministers of Science, Research and Technology and Health, Treatment and Medical Education, the scientific and technological advisor to the president, as well as officials from these two ministries. Additionally, a committee is formed at the universities, chaired by the university president and including vice presidents for educational, research, and cultural and student affairs as committee members. This committee forms the university’s judging panels and conducts the judging and selection of students in two stages. After selection at the university level and recognition of the students, they are introduced to the central secretariat for participation in the national exemplary student stage.
This committee at the university is established in three sections: educational, research, and cultural, and evaluates student points in five groups: agriculture and veterinary medicine, humanities, arts, engineering, and basic sciences.
Students of the university can complete and submit the attached forms to the relevant departments by February 10.
The ceremony to honor the exemplary students of 2015 will be held in Esfand of the current year at the University of Tehran, and the national stage of this event will be conducted in the first decade of Ordibehesht 1395 with the presence of the president.
