According to the Public Relations of the University: The introduction ceremony for the new students of the Faculty of Basic Sciences was held in the conference hall of Martyr Akhoundi University with the presence of Dr. Bahram Khoshnavisan, the university president, Hojjatoleslam Valmoslemin Seyyed Vaqili, the Deputy of the Office of the Supreme Leader in the university, Dr. Fadaei, the educational and research deputy, Dr. Khosravi, the head of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, Eng. Rezayi Pouya, the director of the Security Department, faculty members of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, and 70 new students of Energy Engineering and Engineering Physics.
At the beginning of this ceremony, Dr. Khoshnavisan, while commemorating the days of mourning for Imam Husayn and offering condolences on the martyrdom of Imam Sajjad (AS), briefly outlined the history of the university. He added: Qom Industrial University, as a newly established university, has made considerable scientific progress. The admission statistics of students at this university in the graduate program and the scientific and research articles of faculty members reflect this.
Continuing, Hojjatoleslam Valmoslemin Seyyed Vaqili, the Deputy of the Office of the Supreme Leader in the university, elaborated on the activities and responsibilities of the Office in order to familiarize students further with it.
Additionally, Eng. Rezayi Pouya, the director of the Security Department, introduced this department and requested that students share their suggestions, criticisms, and reports with the department to ensure the safety and well-being of the university community at Qom Industrial University.
Then Dr. Khosravi, the head of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, introduced the faculty and its academic members.
Eng. Nasiri, the university advisor, also explained the counseling center for new students and discussed the implementation and details of the health monitoring plan for new students.
Finally, a souvenir gift was presented to the new students.
