The Council for the Development and Planning of Higher Education of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology has approved the admission of students for a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Applied Design, marking the first PhD program in Mechanical Engineering at Qom University of Technology and the first such program in the province.
It is noteworthy that, in this regard, Kashan University will collaborate with Qom University of Technology as one of the successful universities in conducting this program under a cooperative plan.
The aim of this program is to train specialists who can address some of the professional needs of society related to design and research in various industries such as manufacturing, power plants, refineries, automotive, aerospace, aviation, marine, transportation, and other industries. This program encompasses specialized fields including solids and stress analysis, dynamics, control and vibrations, and smart structures mechanics, among others.
