According to the Qom University of Technology Public Relations, the results of the 15th edition of the UI GreenMetric 2025 international ranking system, which is known as the most comprehensive and authoritative global indicator for evaluating the sustainability and green development of universities, have been published.
In this ranking period, more than 1,745 universities from 105 countries were comprehensively evaluated. This ranking system uses precise indicators to measure the performance of higher education institutions in key areas of environmental protection, resource management, combating climate change, and moving towards a sustainable university.
The main goals of this ranking are to create constructive competition among universities around the world, increase sensitivity and practical action to confront environmental crises, and promote innovative solutions in the areas of clean energy, optimizing water consumption, waste management and recycling, green transportation, and developing interdisciplinary education and research in the field of sustainability.
According to the announced results, Qom University of Technology, with 4797.5 points, achieved 1100th place globally and 26th place among the universities from Iran in this assessment.

This success is due to the efforts and planning made to realize the university's environmental vision and missions and implement macro policies of sustainable development.
It is worth noting that the UI GreenMetric ranking was founded by the University of Indonesia (UI) and every year it evaluates the green practices of universities around the world with greater precision and scope.
