According to a report from the university's public relations, Qom University of Technology ranked between 11th and 15th among the industrial universities in the country based on the criteria of the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC).
This database annually evaluates and ranks various universities in the country based on six criteria: education, research, technology and innovation, internationalization, economic impact, and infrastructure, which are also recognized and implemented by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
Last year, Qom University of Technology was ranked between 21st and 30th among the industrial universities in the country. However, due to the planning undertaken to enhance the university's ranking, it experienced significant growth in the 2020 ranking and achieved a position between 11th and 15th.
The ranking by the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC) commenced in 2013, during which only data from nine industrial universities was extracted, and Qom University of Technology entered this ranking in 2016.
