The Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs of the University announced the initiation of a study project for the establishment of a wastewater treatment plant at Qom Industrial University with a capacity of 50 cubic meters.
Dr. Al Omrani Nejad stated: This project, which began in the summer of this year, is currently in the execution phase and is expected to be operational by the end of the current year.
He added: By completing this project, in addition to the proper management of wastewater within the university, which has been one of the university's longstanding issues for 15 years, an average of 35 cubic meters of wastewater will be treated daily, resulting in a 70% reduction in water consumption for irrigation and expanding the university's green spaces.
The Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs pointed out: The cost of this project is funded through the repair and equipment budget and the capital asset acquisition budget, and it is expected that the remaining funding will be provided by the Program and Budget Organization and the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
