Qom University of Technology Announces Admission of Outstanding Talent Candidates (PhD Without Entrance Exam) for Academic Year 1405–1406 – Industrial Engineering
In accordance with the implementation of the “Regulations for Admission of Outstanding Talent Students to PhD Programs” issued by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Qom University of Technology is inviting applications from distinguished graduates of Master’s degree programs for admission to the PhD program in Industrial Engineering for the academic year 1405–1406.
Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:
According to Booklet No. 1 of the National PhD Entrance Exam of the Iranian National Educational Assessment Organization, admission is only possible in the same field of study as the Master’s degree or related fields, as determined by the relevant academic department and approved by the Graduate Studies Council of the university.
A minimum GPA of 16 in the Bachelor’s degree and 17 in the Master’s degree (excluding thesis score).
No more than three years must have passed since graduation up to October 1, 1405. Accordingly, those who graduated before 1402/07/01 are not eligible.
Final-year Master’s students who have completed all coursework (excluding thesis, seminar, and research methodology) and will graduate by 1405/06/31 are eligible to apply.
At least one valid research or scientific paper (domestic or international) related to the field of study is required (considered an advantage).
A minimum score of 60 out of 100 must be obtained based on the evaluation system (research activities: max 40 points, educational background: max 30 points, interview: max 30 points) according to the official assessment tables in the regulations.
Applicants must not be enrolled as PhD students in any other university at the time of application.

Recommendation letters from two faculty members
National ID card and birth certificate
Military service completion card or exemption (for male applicants)

Admission without entrance exam does not exempt candidates from the interview process.
Final admission is subject to approval by the National Educational Assessment Organization (Sanjesh).
Enrollment becomes final after document verification.
