During this visit, Dr. Ganji, the head of the student welfare fund, stated: The holy city of Qom has very good potentials, including its geographical position in the province, which is highly strategic. Qom University of Technology can effectively address the industrial problems of the region. Dr. Ganji added: Just as medical students go to hospitals for practical work, industrial students should also visit factories to become familiar with their challenges and problems and find solutions for them. Dr. Ganji announced the provision of interest-free loans for students traveling to the holy shrines and added: Considering the impact of visiting the Imams, preliminary consultations have been held at the student welfare fund to sign a memorandum of understanding with several banks so that we can provide special student loans for trips to the holy shrines. Dr. Rezaei Nour, the president of Qom University of Technology, pointed to the remarkable progress of this university and added: Qom University of Technology, as a developing university, can further fulfill its mission with the support of officials. He noted: Achieving second and ninth ranks in the employment of graduates at the bachelor's and master's levels, achieving the tenth rank in holding skill enhancement courses in 1401, and ranking fifteenth nationally in the index of the number of research contracts are part of the achievements of Qom University of Technology. Dr. Rezaei Nour said: Positive activities have been undertaken in the fields of student welfare, including obtaining a 5000 square meter land near the university for the construction of a student dormitory, the establishment of a complementary cafeteria, consolidating and outsourcing student dormitories to reduce costs, and industrializing the kitchen to procure equipment needed for distributing hot meals in student dormitories, which have been carried out for the welfare of students in the new academic year. Dr. Rezaei Nour added: The lack of a dedicated university dormitory is one of the biggest challenges for students. The officials at this university are doing their utmost to provide the best services to students in the dormitory while reducing costs. Hujjatul Islam wal Muslimin Dr. Ghorbani Mobin mentioned that the head of the office of the supreme leader in Qom University of Technology stated: Attention to the universities of Qom Province is a special investment for Islam and Muslims because these students can be good cultural officers for the country. He added: Qom University of Technology is a university of guardianship and is aligned with the revolution, which trains committed and faithful engineers. In this context, the university officials have specific plans for the spiritual and cultural advancement of students, including the innovative programs of Qom University of Technology in the cultural field based on the Maqam Al-Masoumah Al-Karimah in the city of Karbala.
