According to the Public Relations report, a joint meeting was held between the Research Office of the Police Force of Qom Province and Qom Industrial University aimed at fostering constructive and effective collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation, accelerating the flow of research and innovation, attracting top minds, and utilizing the capabilities of professors, students, elites, and innovators. This meeting, which was organized to address scientific and technological issues within the province's police force, discussed how the police can support students' theses, dissertations, and emerging innovative projects. Additionally, based on the implementation of the scientific jihad plan, the acceleration of joint collaborations such as holding joint scientific conferences and scientific and research festivals was examined. In line with this, Dr. Mahdi Bakrani, a faculty member of the Electrical Engineering Department at Qom Industrial University, is currently executing a project for biometric identification using human facial recognition, while Dr. Kohestani, also a faculty member of the Electrical Engineering Department at Qom Industrial University, is working on a project to enhance the semantic correlation between brain activity and EEG signals at the request of the Research Office of Qom Province’s Police Force.
