According to the public relations department of the university, the board of directors of Qom University of Technology issued a message in support of the awakening movement of students and free-thinking professors in the United States, condemning the violent repression by U.S. police against professors and students who support the Palestinian people. The full text of this message is as follows: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Despite all the racial discrimination and inhumane stances of the West, the freedom-loving people of the world, especially professors and students in the U.S., stand resolutely in defense of the oppressed Palestinian people. The awakening movement in support of the Palestinian people has emerged not only in U.S. universities but also in France, Ireland, and Australia. This movement indicates that the academic community across the globe, regardless of religion or ethnicity, is aware, insightful, and intelligent, even in countries that superficially claim to promote civilization and freedom of speech, while in practice, they suppress freedom of expression with extreme brutality through their heavily armed police forces. Qom University of Technology, while supporting the aware professors and students in the U.S. and Europe, hopes, in accordance with the words of the Supreme Leader (may God protect him), that the infamous name of Israel will soon be removed from the face of the Earth, and with the emergence of the Awaited Imam (may God hasten his reappearance), we will witness the establishment of justice and equity promised in the noble religion of Islam.
