According to the university's public relations, the Board of Trustees of Qom Industrial University expressed their condolences for the martyrdom of the people's president and his accompanying officials to the holy sanctuary of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), the Supreme Leader, and the noble nation of Iran. The full text of this message is as follows: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed, to Him we will return. The tragic incident of the helicopter crash and the untimely martyrdom of the president, the foreign minister, the representative of the Supreme Leader in East Azerbaijan, the governor, and their companions has deeply saddened the nation of Iran and the officials of other countries who knew Ayatollah Raisi closely and were familiar with his humility, modesty, and dedicated service. His eagerness to serve the people, his humility, and modesty during his tenure as the custodian of the sacred shrine of Imam Reza, as well as in the judiciary and the presidency, are known to all. He undoubtedly deserved the title of "Seyyed of the Oppressed" as he never wavered in serving the people and diligently worked to establish justice. On his final day in office, the people's president was engaged in addressing the issues of border residents and striving to solve their problems, moving towards the inauguration of the largest dam in the northwest of the country that the people of that region had been waiting for eighteen years to be completed. We also remember the beloved and popular Friday prayer leader of Tabriz, Ayatollah Al-Haashimi, and the dedicated diplomat of Iran, Dr. Amir-Abdollahian, whose services in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are commendable and praiseworthy. The Board of Trustees of Qom Industrial University, representing the academic community, extends their condolences for this great tragedy to the holy sanctuary of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), the Supreme Leader, and the noble nation of Iran, and prays to God Almighty for patience and great rewards for the survivors. Undoubtedly, the wise presence of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution (may his shadow last) in these circumstances casts a bright light over the Islamic Iran, and with his wisdom and prudence, no disruption will occur in the country's affairs.
