Message from the President of Qom University of Technology regarding the condemnation of the European Union's action in sanctioning the country's Student Mobilization.

Patience, for the promise of God is true, and let not those who have no certainty frighten you (Surah Ar-Rum, Verse 60). The Basij is one of the most important, ideological, and popular forces that contribute to the growth and flourishing of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran; to the extent that the Basij, which was one of the innovations of the late Imam in the Islamic Revolution, has today become a model for all the freedom seekers of the world. The Islamic Republic takes pride in the fact that both old and young, men and women, from various cultures, ethnicities, and levels of education have gathered together solely for one sacred goal: to act upon the teachings of the Guardian and Leader under the light of the Holy Quran. They have always brought prosperity, freedom, self-sufficiency, and self-confidence. Today, the enemy's fear of this sacred institution is clearly evident, as the Basij youth have come together in the field of science and technology to bring about independence and freedom for Islamic Iran through scientific jihad, constructive jihad, political activism, cultural and spiritual growth, and software movements. It is on this basis that the European Union has illustrated its terror and dread by sanctioning the Student Basij. On behalf of the devoted community of Qom Industrial University, I firmly condemn this desperate action and express unwavering support for the Student Basij, declaring that each of our Basij members in the university front is a martyr Qasem Soleimani, and with the presence of these dear ones, the bright flames of the Islamic Revolution will be ignited more and more each day, and our power in the world will continue to grow.
