According to the university's public relations office, Dr. Jalal Rezaei Nour, the President of Qom University of Technology, issued a message inviting the university community to participate in the International Quds Day rally. The text of this message is as follows: In the name of God, the Issue of Palestine is fundamentally important for all Muslims, including us. It is a fundamental issue and an obligation (Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei). Quds Day is a day of unity and solidarity for all free people who express their protest against the heinous crimes of the Zionist regime worldwide. On Quds Day, people of all faiths and ethnicities voice their anger and hatred toward the colonialists by chanting "Death to Israel" and "Death to America," showing their disdain for those who have not only sought dominion but have also trampled on humanity. This year, we observe Quds Day at a time when the usurping Zionist regime, in response to the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and successive failures, has revealed its desperation to the world by destroying the Iranian Islamic Republic's consulate building in Syria and martyring Iranian military commanders and advisors. I, while wishing the acceptance of the fasts and worships of the fasting individuals, honor the memory of the martyrs of resistance, especially the beloved martyr General Qassem Soleimani, and invite the university community, especially the Qom University of Technology community, to join the devout and fasting people of Islamic Iran in renewing their pledge to the ideals of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini (RA), under the leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution. By participating in the International Quds Day rally with widespread attendance, let us once again raise the voice of freedom-seeking and the struggle against oppression for the oppressed people of Palestine to the ears of the world.
