The fifth of Esfand is named the auspicious birthday of the great Iranian scholar Khwaja Nasir al-Din al-Tusi and National Engineer's Day.
On this day, as Iranians, we take pride in the illustrious history of our country, in which scholars like Khwaja Nasir al-Din al-Tusi have lived. Today, the brave youth of our homeland have shaped the advancement of Islamic Iran with their innovation, creativity, and initiative.
Today, the responsibility of Iranian engineers has become significantly heavier. In the year "Support for Iranian Goods," Iranian engineers can, with their intelligence and wisdom, reduce the economy's dependency on oil revenues and subsequently realize a resistant economy based on the policies announced by the Supreme Leader of the Revolution.
While honoring the memory of 1,400 martyr engineers, I congratulate the Engineer's Day, celebrated on the fifth of Esfand, to all engineers of this land, especially the scientific community of Qom University of Technology, and I wish for their continuous success in the growth and flourishing of Islamic Iran from the grace of the Almighty.
