The conference on the philosophy of the Ashura uprising was held at Qom University of Technology.

According to the Public Relations Office of the University: The conference on the philosophy of Ashura's uprising was held with a speech by Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Mazni, representative of the people of Tehran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, organized by the Islamic Association of the University in the Shahid Akhundi conference hall.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Khushnevisean, the president of the university, welcomed Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Mazni, acknowledging and appreciating the tireless efforts of this popular representative in the Islamic Consultative Assembly. He also urged students to collaborate more with student organizations to create more enthusiasm and vitality within the university environment.
The president of Qom Industrial University, referring to the holding of this conference about the philosophy of Ashura’s uprising said: Given the enthusiasm and awareness of the students, I hope that more programs and student conferences will trend toward content-based topics. Subsequently, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Mazni discussed the philosophy of Ashura's uprising. He identified the principal philosophy of the Ashura uprising as enjoining good and forbidding wrong, adding: In religious emphasis, enjoining good and forbidding wrong holds a special status; Imam Hussein (PBUH) states: It is through enjoining good that people become familiar with the principles and foundations of religion. Furthermore, enjoining good and forbidding wrong ensures that the public wealth of society is utilized properly. In fact, enjoining good is a tool for opposing the oppressors. Enjoining good serves as a means of establishing social and economic justice in the community.
The representative of the people of Tehran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: Even in the Constitution of Iran, enjoining good has a special place. Article 8 of the Constitution is dedicated to enjoining good and forbidding wrong, and this important duty has been outlined as a collective responsibility.
