Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Hosseini, Director General of the Office for Coordination of the Disciplinary Committees for Administrative Violations of Employees and the Faculty of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, during a meeting with the staff of Qom University of Technology at the blessed ceremony of reciting the Ziyarat Ashura, said: The role of universities is more significant today than ever. Given the growth of science and technology in today’s world, the power and authority of countries depend on their knowledge and technology. Islamic Iran prides itself that other countries demand military equipment from Iran. The construction of missiles by Iranian engineers is a source of pride and honor. He added: On the day our enemy imposed sanctions on us, some were worried about what would happen to Iran, but today, despite further sanctions, we are exporting our products to other countries with self-sufficiency and self-confidence. Dr. Hosseini, referring to the creation of political enthusiasm and insight among students, said: Universities must activate students' political awareness. However, universities should not turn into political clubs. He added: Given the mischief by our enemies who intend to create discord among the Iranian nation, students with any political views must maintain their unity. The university is a place for vibrant ideas. The best space for expressing political opinions of students with diverse perspectives is through free-thinking forums. The Minister's representative said: The sacred Islamic Republic of Iran always considers itself indebted to the dear martyrs. Maintaining the security and comfort of young people at the university is a priority for us. Anyone who seeks to disturb this order and tranquility in universities will face severe consequences. The Director General of the Office for Coordination of the Disciplinary Committees for Administrative Violations of Employees at the Ministry added: Qom University of Technology, thank God, is in a favorable situation. According to the reports submitted, this university has been able to fulfill its missions well.
