The Administrative and Financial Deputy of the university announced the way staff members should attend and engage at the university starting from Saturday, April 4, 2020.
According to the university's public relations office, part of this announcement states: Wishing you health and wellness, following the announcement from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology regarding universities' compliance with the directives issued by the country's Administrative and Employment Affairs Organization, the attendance status of staff in various departments starting from Saturday, April 16, 2020, is as follows: 1. To create conditions for remote work and reduce the presence of administrative staff at the university, esteemed managers are required to arrange for a minimal attendance (two working days a week) for their specialists uniformly, ensuring that no disruption occurs in the provision of services from that unit. Therefore, it is essential for our dear colleagues to coordinate their attendance, remote work, or leave with the relevant managers. It should be noted that planned leave this week does not count as part of the annual entitled leave. 2. Any colleagues who have contracted the coronavirus during their vacation or that of their close relatives must inform their direct manager before attending, so that the relevant manager can ensure that, in addition to fulfilling their assigned duties, the health of present colleagues is also considered. 3. It is clear that if any new decisions are made in light of changing circumstances by the National Headquarters for Managing and Combating the Coronavirus which alter this plan, it will subsequently be communicated to our esteemed colleagues.
