Steps for Registering New Students

In addition to extending congratulations and best wishes to the students accepted in the university entrance exam of the year 2021, it is hereby informed that the registration of newly admitted students at Qom University of Technology will take place in two stages: where students are required to complete both stages of registration.

  • Non-attendance registration electronically
  • Sending documents via expedited mail by the student

Therefore, we kindly request you to complete all the items mentioned below and follow the registration process until you receive results.

(It is emphasized that registration will be completely non-attendance and there is no need for the student to be present.)

Before entering the Qom University of Technology website for registration, please scan the items mentioned below (as these items will be required for uploading during registration).

  • Copy of National ID Card (front and back)
  • Copy of all pages of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of 4*3 photo on a white background (size 263*649 or less, photo size should be approximately 25 kilobytes)
  • Refer to the "Educational Document Verification System of the Ministry of Education" at https://emt.medu.ir

By selecting the "Graduation Record" option, request to send the graduation transcript and certificate of places of study in the last three years of secondary education to the admitting university, and after registering the information and paying the fee, you will receive a tracking code and payment confirmation. This tracking code must be entered in the sixth step of the electronic registration.

  • Copy of the original computerized diploma transcript and pre-university or secondary education record (if you received your document physically from your high school, but if not, this is not required.)
  • Copy of the original diploma and pre-university or secondary education record (if you received your document physically from your high school, but if not, this is not required.)
  • Copy of the provisional diploma and pre-university or secondary education certificate (if you received your document physically from your high school, but if not, this is not required.)
  • Copies of the assessment forms based on individual needs and necessity should be filled and uploaded (the assessment forms can be downloaded from this link Form 4 and 5. Please complete and upload one of forms 4 or 5 based on the student's status. The remaining assessment forms should be filled and uploaded if they match the applicant's status (such as refugee, witness, and veteran forms, etc.) Download the forms from this link Assessment Forms.

  • Copy of military service completion card or exemption if available

After scanning all the above documents, visit the address below to complete your online registration. Website address: https://erp.qut.ac.ir/stdnew

Note 1: To enter the online registration system (from the main page of the Qom University of Technology website), the username, the student’s national ID, and the password, are the applicant's identity number.

Note 2: The national ID must be entered completely and in 10 digits without hyphens or spaces (if the applicant's national ID starts with zero, the zero may not need to be included for signing into the site, so try logging in both with and without the leading zero).

After entering the online registration system, complete the registration process thoroughly and upload all necessary forms (which you have previously scanned and mentioned in the descriptions above) in their respective sections. At the end of the online registration process on the last page, please click on Submit and Send Documents.

After submitting your online registration, a text message will be sent to the entered mobile number. (provided that your SMS advertising system is activated).

In the following days, the esteemed educational staff of the university will review the submitted information of the applicants. If the registration request is approved, a text message will be sent to the student's mobile phone indicating the approval of online registration containing the student ID. If the request is denied, a text message regarding the deficiency in the file or rejection of the request will be sent to the applicant (please note that your deficiencies will be noted on the last page of the online registration). In this case, the applicant must return to the online registration link, complete the deficiencies, and resend it. (Please note, due to the high workload of the university's educational department and the influx of new students, the processing of online registration requests may take up to two working days, hence students can track the status of their requests from the same online registration link).

Students who have not received their student ID can view their student ID in the online registration link after the request has been approved by the university. Therefore, respected applicants should not worry about not receiving a text message.

Second stage of registration: Sending documents via expedited mail by the student

The student is required to send the original documents listed below via expedited mail from 01/08/1400 to 20/10/1400 to the university.

  • Three pieces of 4*3 recent photos (stamped on the back) (compulsory)
  • Original certificate of diploma and pre-university or secondary education (if you have the form)
  • Temporary certificate of diploma and pre-university or secondary education (compulsory)
  • Original transcript of diploma and pre-university or secondary education (compulsory)

It should be noted that if the above documents are not sent, the registration will not be finalized.

The date for the start of classes for students at the undergraduate level of 1400 is from Sunday, dated 17/07/1400. Therefore, all esteemed students should use the university's virtual education system with the usernamestudent IDand passwordnational ID(try with and without the leading zero) to enter the university’s virtual system and attend classes through this method. If you encounter any problems logging into the virtual system, please contact the university at extension 217 to resolve your issue.

Important Note: The university will automatically select courses for newly admitted students. Therefore, students should compare their selected courses in the student portal (ERP) and the virtual educational system, and if any course is missing in the virtual educational system, they should contact Mr. Mousavi at extension 217 to follow up until the specified course is added (in the virtual system).

  All male students must refer to the following channel in the Bele messaging app to complete their military service procedures, otherwise their registration will be canceled.

It should also be noted that the issuance of student ID cards will be subsequently announced through the official university channel in the internal messaging app "Bele" or by contacting the university at extension 125.
