Health Monitoring Plan for Students from the Class of '93

The health and mental wellness monitoring program for newly admitted undergraduate and graduate students at Qom University of Technology was implemented.
According to the public relations office of Qom University of Technology, Mr. Nasiri, the head of the university's counseling and health center, stated: In accordance with the emphasis from the Central Office for Counseling and Health of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on implementing the health and mental wellness monitoring program, this section is considered one of the registration steps for new incoming students, and the participation of all students enrolled in 93 is mandatory.
He noted the history of the program's implementation in previous years, adding: The monitoring program has been conducted annually for incoming daytime students in both the physical and mental health sectors, but this year, based on the announcement and insistence of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, this program will cover all daytime and evening students.
Mr. Nasiri, the head of the student counseling center at Qom University of Technology, emphasized: The staff of this center will complete files and provide designated admission dates for each individual during the registration and document submission days for newly admitted students, conducting the health monitoring of the students.
He mentioned the execution stages of this program, stating: In implementing this program, screening for physical health, mental health, and the well-being of students will be examined and scrutinized. Additionally, students will participate in this program by filling out initial questionnaires and undergoing medical examinations, while the health and counseling center will review the received information and, if necessary, address any issues that require follow-up. He emphasized: At this stage, referrals for laboratory tests and detailed examinations by physicians to achieve satisfactory results will be persistently pursued by this center.
Mr. Nasiri regarded the purpose of holding this program as obtaining general information about the health of newly admitted students to follow up on physical and psychological issues and assist in their resolution.
It is noteworthy that in addition to monitoring the physical and mental health of the 93 enrolled students, workshops on life skills, time management, and academic planning will also be held in the early months of the academic year.
