Dr. Jalal Rezai Nour, the president of Qom Industrial University, stated in an interview with Qom Farda News Agency regarding the significant and renewed presence of the people following the terrorist attack at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Kerman and the glorious funeral for the martyrs of the incident, that the enemies of the Iranian people should know that the Iranian nation and the freedom-seekers of the world will not be deterred from the brutal crimes against Haj Qasem Soleimani and his objectives. Dr. Rezai Nour, while commemorating the memory of Martyr Soleimani and the martyrs of the Kerman terrorist incident during this conversation declared that every part of the world and all nations have heroes, who are recognized for their humanitarian actions, or for their ethics and civility, or for their intellectual power and organizational skills. The president of Qom Industrial University added that during a time when we faced a strange global phenomenon represented by ISIS, which showcased a false version of Islam, the ISIS phenomenon had turned into an all-consuming fire in the Middle East, fueled by the provocations of the Western world, especially the Zionist regime and the U.S., committing atrocities.
He continued: In that situation, as various Islamic countries' positions were being occupied and false Islam cast negative perceptions about Muslims, our national and international hero Haj Qasem Soleimani stepped onto the battlefield, managing with minimal resources, equipment, and personnel, demonstrating wisdom and prudence.
Dr. Rezai Nour emphasized that General Soleimani reversed the battlefield dynamics in favor of the opposing front against ISIS at a time when the bloodshed attributed to ISIS was being portrayed in the worst possible manner under the name of Islam. The world saw a true Muslim redirecting attention to himself and standing against ISIS.
The president of Qom Industrial University noted that people's gaze then turned towards the Islamic Republic of Iran; because General Soleimani was the commander of Iran and Islam who fought against terrorism in the fronts of resistance, following the path of the Ahl al-Bayt. Haj Qasem achieved numerous victories, as everyone witnessed that ISIS was pushed back on all fronts, and ultimately, just as Haj Qasem had promised, the dominance of ISIS was eliminated.
Dr. Rezai Nour stated that such a hero is not only a national hero, but becomes prominent on the international stage, and it is natural that the Western world and the inhumane figures trying to butcher humanity with all their might found Haj Qasem's activities objectionable and planned to assassinate such a hero.
He said: The enemy, in its own perception, wanted to rid itself of Haj Qasem Soleimani and feel free from someone who had created such a significant movement against the terrorists; however, we observed that the impact of Haj Qasem's martyrdom was no less than his existence, sparking the entire country to rise for his funeral, and on the other hand, freedom-seekers around the world modeled their struggle after Haj Qasem, with most of the world remembering him fondly.
