According to the university's public relations report, Dr. Rezai Nour, the president and vice presidents of Qom University of Technology, met and discussed with Dr. Dadashpour, the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology. In this meeting, Dr. Rezai Nour referred to recent developments in the student sector. He stated: This year, to facilitate student welfare, a complementary restaurant has been added to the student canteen. Additionally, the distribution of hot meals in student dormitories has been made possible. He added: Regarding student nutrition, in addition to improving food quality, the nutritional value of meals has also been prioritized, and side dishes have been added alongside student meals. The president of Qom University of Technology mentioned: Student loans are being processed swiftly, and students residing in dormitories are entitled to a housing loan as assistance. He noted: Furthermore, in the Counseling and Health Center, the Office for Connection of Iranian and Islamic Lifestyle has been opened, which can facilitate an easy, informed, and timely marriage for students through the organization of courses and workshops focusing on pre-marriage awareness, relationship management, and effective communication. Dr. Rezai Nour pointed out: Given the enthusiastic reception from students towards sports programs, the boys' volleyball competitions of Region 4 will be hosted by Qom University of Technology in January of this year. Dr. Dadashpour, while commending the effective activities undertaken at this university, stated: One of the government’s responsibilities is to attract international students. He said: Considering the existing potentials in the country's higher education, the goal has been set to attract 320,000 international students by the end of the seventh development program. The head of the Organization for Student Affairs added: Since the holy city of Qom is the spiritual capital of the world, Qom University of Technology can play a significant role in attracting international students.
