According to the public relations of Dr. Rezaei Noor University, in an interview, he described the current situation and atmosphere of the university:
In the name of God
Based on the policies announced by the esteemed Minister and the honorable Governor, the university's activities have been planned for the period from March 10 to 28 in such a way that ongoing university activities continue in the best possible manner and substitute solutions such as virtual education and remote work are utilized as described below:
1- Electronic processes of the university: Since last year, planning for the electronic processing of the university has begun, and for some time now, the administrative and headquarters processes of the university have been fully electronic. By defining processes on the web, the need for the presence of clients has been minimized. Following the outbreak of the coronavirus, appropriate communication for electronic follow-up and the avoidance of visiting the university has been carried out on the university's website and news channels, and each student or esteemed client can send all their requests electronically through the electronic service desk on the university's website, and their requests will be addressed and responded to promptly.
2- Holding classes electronically: All necessary coordination for conducting classes electronically has been completed in a short time, and electronic classes have been in progress since last Sunday. The level of cooperation and welcome from dear students and respected professors in this plan is commendable and worthy of appreciation.
3- Holding work meetings virtually: With actions taken by the university's information technology department, as of March 8, the possibility of holding meetings via video conferencing has been established, and the board meeting was held virtually. Thus, until conditions normalize, the possibility of holding all meetings virtually is available.
4- Reducing working hours for staff: In order to maintain the health of university staff and reduce their time on campus, as per paragraph 2 of Article 28 of the employment regulations for non-faculty members and in line with the circular sent by the Qom Governorate, given the special circumstances that have arisen, the administrative working hours of the university have been set and announced from 9 AM to 12 PM until the end of March (unless conditions change and a return to normal occurs).
5- Maximizing the use of entitled leave: It has been decided that with the planning of leftover tasks and activities at the end of the year and considering the absence of students, maximum use of entitled leave for employees will be facilitated. Additionally, for colleagues who do not have sufficient entitled leave left until the end of the year (based on paragraph 4 of Article 55 of the employment regulations for non-faculty members, which states that the university calendar runs from the first of October each year to the end of September the following year), the use of 15 days of entitled leave from the first half of the year 1399 has also been granted.
6- Disinfecting the university environment: The public areas of the university were thoroughly disinfected on Friday, and during working hours, all frequently used surfaces, such as door handles, light switches, elevators, and other high-contact areas, are disinfected multiple times. The disinfection process of the university environment will continue throughout the week.
7- Obligation for colleagues to observe health principles: Colleagues at the university have been strongly advised to wear masks and gloves in the workplace, and reminders are issued to those who do not observe health principles.
8- Temporary suspension of the fingerprint attendance control system: The fingerprint attendance system has been suspended, and attendance will be conducted manually.
9- Stopping services in canteens and kitchens: To maintain the health of staff and with prior notice (while reducing working hours), services in kitchens, canteens, buffets, and dining halls at the university have been suspended. University colleagues can only bring personal and catering items while fully observing health protocols if necessary.
Finally, I would like to express my special gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of colleagues from various departments, especially those from the information technology, administrative support, and education sectors of the university, who have made significant contributions to the above arrangements. I hope that we can finalize the end of the year with minimal damages and maximum productivity and prepare for the upcoming year.
May God grant us success
