University President's Meeting with Donors and Officials of the Qom Chamber of Commerce
According to the public relations office of the university, this meeting was hosted by the University of Qom with the presence of Mr. Khaki, the head of the Qom Chamber of Commerce, officials, and heads of the Chamber of Commerce's guild units, as well as the manager of the Shokouh Industrial Town. In this meeting, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the president of the University of Qom, welcomed the participants and emphasized the necessity of continuous cooperation between the industrial and commercial sectors of the province. Dr. Rezaei Nour highlighted the existing potentials and the scientific and educational capacities of the university, stating: "The path for industrial development and production boom in the province will be smoother and more achievable through mutual collaborations with the university." He added that the University of Qom is ready to collaborate in any capacity with the province's industry leaders. "We can provide mutual cooperation and valuable, effective services to these two sectors by strengthening the laboratory and workshop capabilities of the industry and the Qom Chamber of Commerce." Dr. Rezaei Nour mentioned the workshop and laboratory sections of the university, stating: "Fortunately, the technical and equipment level of these sections is acceptable, and God willing, in the future, with ongoing collaboration between industry and academia, efforts will be made to further enhance the equipment levels of the organizations to boost production in the province." During this two-hour meeting, after the remarks of the university president, officials from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the province shared their insights and opinions. The main topics discussed in this meeting are as follows: 1. Emphasis on serious collaboration between the university and the province's industry 2. The necessity of conducting training courses needed by the industry and Chamber of Commerce by the university 3. Hosting specialized conferences and meetings necessary for the industry and the Chamber of Commerce with the university 4. Addressing the technical and equipment needs of the university by the industry 5. Acceptance and implementation of internship programs for students in various industrial sectors 6. Carrying out projects needed by the industry by university faculty 7. Providing the workforce needed by the industry from among the university graduates 8. Collaboration and development of the university's foundational and quantitative sectors by the industry
