During this ceremony, Dr. Rezaei Noor, the president of Qom University of Technology, said: We thank God that after several years of interruption due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year in the month of Mehr, we witness the presence of dear students at the university, and we celebrate this month together. He added: Qom University of Technology was established in 2008 and currently ranks among the top 15 industrial universities in the country, with diverse technical and engineering fields at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels, 72 faculty members, over 2000 students, and 150 staff members. This university has made remarkable progress as a developing institution. The president of Qom University of Technology stated: Attracting international students and becoming an international university, climbing 10 ranks in the Islamic World Citation Database (ISC), achieving first and ninth rankings for employment of undergraduate and master's graduates, and securing 13th place nationally in hosting skill enhancement courses for students among universities, research institutes, and higher education centers are part of the remarkable advancements of Qom University of Technology. He continued: The undergraduate program is the foundation for your future. So, if you study well and acquire skills from today, you will be successful. Society has shifted from a degree-oriented approach to a skills-oriented one. An engineer with a doctoral degree, but lacking skills and practical knowledge, has no position in the industry. Thus, the university courses, along with training in various skills, provide society with a successful and competent engineer. Dr. Rezaei Noor stated: Qom University of Technology provides an environment conducive to the growth and advancement of its students. He added: Holding free thought forums on religious courses, facilitating pilgrimage excursions to Mashhad and Karbala are other programs of the office that have received great responses from students.
